Life is Totally Terrific!! for me~ Except that…2 days in a row I’ve caused a computer glitch and lost my entire blog post! ACK!!!! I am saving this NOW before anything happens to it!!
I did chest/tri/abs on Mon with a pb of 155×1- the very very first time in my life I’ve ever benched that much all by myself!! 135x7times was another pb that day. I did abs really hard too and ran intervals on the treaddy. Weight was 132
Yesterday I did legs.
Today is Back/sh/Biceps and running intervals- my weight this am is 131 and it’s cday 5- I am down 4 pounds since last Wed– HORMONES!!
The sent the SSS2 entries are TOTALLY AWESOME!! Yesterday I forwarded them to the judges, so we should have the winner decided by next MONDAY!! Watch for the announcement!!
Have a Totally Terrific Day!!
Now is the time for warmer clothes
Posted by buffmother in Fitness on December 6th, 2009
BRRR!! it’s been cold here this week~ Not that it gets anything like Minnesota, but it’s been chilly compared to the 60’s we had for the previous 2 weeks. I am pretty much against winter clothes…I hate bundling up!
What do you think?? do you like winter clothes? Or do you like summer clothes better?
But ~despite my protest, Now is the time for warmer clothes, jeans, scarves, coats and mittens ~ so…I’ve got to go up in the attic today to grab our box of winter accessories…I hope I don’t get LOST up there, lol!
I had a great workout day yesterday…and I did good on my diet too. Low carb and I DID eat greens too!! YAY!!
Here’s the workouts:
am fasted cardio: 10 min elliptical; 20mins of running intervals on treadmill; 12 mins of r-bike then abs
3 sets of knee ups on roman chair
3 sets of crunches on ab roller
stretching between
pm LEGS
Squats 45×10
2 sets body weight bulgarians to help warm up
95×10 135×10x3sets
2 sets knee ups on bench for abs
Dead lifts 135×10x2sets romainian
135×10 conventional
Leg press low weight high reps- 3 sets
Leg curls 70×10 80×10x2sets
That was it, it was all good!! Now for today, I am not going to do fasted cardio…I am going to eat and head to the gym for a back/sh/bicep workout and intervals.
What do you think?? do you like winter clothes? Or do you like summer clothes better?

if you are wondering about the lunges in my Team BuffMother! Rally ROOM…we have a mini challenge this week to do 100 lunges every day this week. So far so good!!!
I am headed now to the gym to do a Back/Sh/Bi workout and some intervals if time permits….otherwise I do them later tonight.
I’ll post after I get it DONE!!
Have a super Thursday!!
Wrap up for the week and WHAT IS your plan???
Posted by buffmother in Goal Setting (POA), Running on July 23rd, 2006
Hello!!
Happy Sunday—I am a bit bummed…we missed church today, so I feel like I am missing something–
The weather this weekend has been beautiful- much cooler and a bit breezy…so much better than the triple digits we had all of last week.
So I got my booty out for a run outside and dang! that was a killer!! I’ve only been running on the treddy as of late and MAN- it is so much more effective outside. While on my run I decided my goal is to keep up with my outdoor running and get TRACK ready in 2 weeks. I have not ran on the TRACK since my Junior year in college–so 10 years!! Can you believe it? It is a mental demon of mine, I want to go to the Track, but I am scared kinda–I know it sounds weird, but I have a lot of emotions tied to it.
Well, I am having good success buffing–my tummy is getting smaller along with my booty, lol. Speaking of which–I am an Apple body type as I have stated many times, but that does not mean that my butt doesn’t get fat–it does. And it has been a little bigger here the past month (my DH says it is a medium size instead of its normal small size version, lol) I have a good distribution of my fat–meaning I gain weight very evenly all over my body, but the first and last place I gain and lose is my stomach. 127 is my current weight–my goal is to be 126 by FRIDAY- so one more pound this week–very doable!
My wrap up from last week looks like this:
Monday- Chest/tris/pushups 4 min elliptical warm up, no intervals- electricity went out at the gym
Tuesday- Back/Bi’s Shoulders- 12min warm up- 20 min running intervals-10 min steady r-bike and Grocery shopping- this has to count as some sort of cardio, right?
Wednesday- OFF totally
Thursday- officially started buffing- took some pictures of me at 128 17 min r-bike warm up- KILLLER LEGS
Friday- Chest/tri’s/push ups/ tons of abs- warm up 30 min r-bike, GREAT intervals run on treddy 28 min total
Saturday- Back/Bi’s/Shoulders only 8 min warm up
Sunday- Run intervals outside- make ab video weight =127
So the plan for this week is the following:
M- Legs
T-Chest-run outside
W-back-intervals on elliptical
Thurs-Legs- run too? Hard on leg day but we’ll see
Fri-Chest-intervals on elliptical
Sat-Back, run outside-snap a set of progress pictures- goal is to weight 126 at this point
Sun-off
Did you week turn out to be a good workout week? And What is your plan for this week of workouts?
Have a super sunday!!
-Michelle
